Maps/Woodridge GIS

A geographic information system (GIS) is a computer-based tool for mapping and analyzing data and events that happen on the earth and in our case, in the Village of Woodridge. GIS technology integrates tabular data with spatial data to perform query and statistical analysis operations against physical geography to generate maps. For example, maps created in the GIS include the Zoning Map, Street Map and Future Land Use Map. The goal of the Village of Woodridge GIS is to maintain and make updates to a comprehensive spatial database capable of serving the needs of all Village employees, and in turn, helping them to provide improved services to the citizens of Woodridge.
