Strategic Management Process - "Building a Future Together"
The annual Strategic Management Process is an important step in developing the Village's goals for the coming year. Annually, Village officials and residents discuss community needs, prioritize policy options, and set goals. Some of these goals are developed through the Community Needs Survey, which is randomly distributed to Woodridge residents in an attempt to identify resident opinions and perceptions regarding the services provided by the Village. Each year 1,200 surveys are randomly distributed to Woodridge residents. The 2009 Community Needs Survey received 424 responses this year. This translates into a 35.3% response rate and is considered to be an impressive rate by industry standards. Because residents play an integral part in prioritizing Village resources, the Strategic Management Process provides an ideal opportunity for valuable resident input through the Town Meeting, Neighborhood dialogue, and Community Needs Survey. The changing needs of Woodridge residents are recognized and addressed through the Strategic Management Process, which set goals that serve as a foundation for the annual budget. We encourage all Woodridge residents to participate.
