General Information
The Building & Zoning Department consists of a Director, 9 full-time and 1 part-time employees. The Building & Zoning Department is responsible for all aspects of the building permit process, multi-family licensing & code enforcement. The Building & Zoning Department offices are located in the Village Hall, at 5 Plaza Drive.

Building permits are required for the construction, alteration, repair, demolition or movement of any building or structure in Woodridge. Construction must begin within three months & must be completed within one year after receiving the building permit. If the construction process is expected to exceed one year’s time, a schedule of completion shall be provided at the time of application for permit.
