Ms. Anne Banks has resided in Woodridge since 1981. Anne retired from Commonwealth Edison (ComEd) after more than 20 years of service in the Customer Service and Human Resources areas, specializing in Professional, Technical, and College Recruitment. Ms. Banks graduated Magna Cum Laude from Benedictine University’s Institute For Management Program. She is also a Certified Professional Secretary.
Anne is currently a member of the Mayor’s Quality Community Task Force, Diversity Committee, and a volunteer at the Community Resource Center. She is one of the co-founders of Agents For Change – a grassroots organization focused on mentoring, and promoting the involvement of youth, ages 13-18, in positive activities in the community. She is employed part-time as the Program Director/Volunteer Coordinator at the West Suburban Community Pantry. Ms. Banks enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering in the community, and attending Broadview Baptist Church, where she has been a member over 20 years.
