How Do I?
Village Subsidy for Park District After School and Summer Programs
The Park District and the Village know that one of the most important decisions you will ever make as a parent or guardian is choosing quality, affordable after school and summer child care. For this reason, the Village of Woodridge and the Woodridge Park District have partnered with the YWCA of Chicago to make quality child care affordable for income-eligible families.

2017-2018 Academic Year
The application period for the 2017-2018 Academic Year is now open. The Village of Woodridge, Woodridge Park District, and the YWCA are collaborating for child care programming. Approval for childcare assistance is based on income. As such, please bring two recent pay-check stubs to the workshop. Please call the village at (630) 719-4729 with questions.

Who Qualifies?

This payment is required for both the after school and summer Park District programs, and it is the only payment required of approved subsidy recipients. The Village and DHS pay the remainder of the Park District fees.

Families are required to re-apply for the Village Subsidy each school year and summer term.
