Business Licensing
License Requirements
All businesses are required to obtain a business license from the village before operating the business. Business licenses are administered by the Village Clerk's Office. New business licenses are required when:

Starting a new business

Expanding an existing business

Relocating an existing business

A change in ownership occurs
Business Licenses Facts

An inspection of your business premises will be required prior to obtaining a business license

Your business license is valid from May 1st of each year until April 30th of the following year and must be renewed annually

You are required to post your business license at your business. It must be visible at all times from outside the main entrance of your business

In addition to your primary business license, you may need additional business licenses based on the conduct of your business.
