Celebrate Woodridge 2009 Grant

Every community group was invited and encouraged to pay tribute to the anniversary year by incorporating an anniversary component into an existing event or program, or creating a program dedicated solely to the anniversaries.  The Celebrate Woodridge Committee established a grant program in the amount of $15,000 to help seed anniversary celebrations.  Grant applications were due at the end of October 2008 and grant awards were made by the end of November 2008.  Additional grant funds remain and interested groups are welcome to apply for those funds.  However, applications must be for new programs not included in a previous application.  Grant awards are only expected to cover a portion of your costs, but we hope that it will make your participation a little easier.  Visit the links below to learn more about this exciting opportunity.
