If you have a complaint that an employee conducted himself/herself in an inappropriate manner, you can register a complaint by contacting the on-duty watch commander.  It should be noted, however, that the professional demeanor of a police employee is dictated by the circumstances facing that employee.  Police brevity and a lack of expression are often the basis for unfounded complaints of discourteous conduct. If you have a complaint, you can stop into the police department and ask to speak to a police officer, or you can call the department at 630-719-4740 and ask to speak to the watch commander or email the complaint to wpdadmin@vil.woodridge.il.us.

Smart911 improves the flow of information about you and members of your household - including children, the elderly and pets - to emergency response teams (police, fire, and paramedics) when you need it most - during a 9-1-1 call from any phone you've registered with Smart911. If you make a 9-1-1 call from your Smart911-verified phone number, your stored critical care and emergency information is automatically made available on the computer screen of 9-1-1 dispatchers where the Smart911 software has been installed. All residents of DuPage County are encouraged to register through Smart911.  In order to participate in this program, you must go to their website www.Smart911.com   and register your cell phone number.
