    Join the Woodridge Public Library for this opportunity to experience American History through the artifacts of local educator and resident Vann Harris, in an interactive exhibit reflecting African American history, Native American history and the shared history of these cultures within the American Experience. Highlights include collections such as Buffalo Soldiers, African Art, Mississippi Farm Tools, Tuskegee Airmen, and Black Pioneers & Black Indians. All ages are invited to this free event on Sunday, October 21 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Woodridge Public Library.

  3. League of Women Voters Hosting Upcoming Election Candidate Meet-and-Greet

    October 21, 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM

    The League of Women Voters of Downers Grove, Woodridge, and Lisle will be co-sponsoring two candidate Meet-and-Greet events for local candidates with Illinois Benedictine in Lisle. These meetings will be held in Goodwin Hall, the Atrium at the University Campus, 5700 College Road in Lisle. On October 7, from 3 to 5 p.m., you will be able to meet county candidates. On October 21, from 3 to 5 p.m., you will be able to meet state and federal candidates.
