October 1, 2018 Plan Commission Consideration

On Monday, October 1, 2018, at 7:30 p.m. at the Woodridge Village Hall, Five Plaza Drive, the Woodridge Plan Commission will consider the following:

 VR 360 – 1001 W. 75th Street, Suite 157: A request for a special use permit for a recreation establishment for Suite 157 in the Woodgrove Festival Shopping Center (the former Capri Ristorante space). VR 360 is a new family entertainment concept that allows patrons to have experiences like climbing Mount Everest, being on an African safari, touring various cities, sky diving, etc., with the use of virtual reality devices. The proposed tenant space will have a combination of VR booth areas, VR chair stations, a team play area, and a bar and restaurant area that will offer a full service bar and limited food menu. Village Board consideration is scheduled for November 1st.

 Woodward Boughton Plaza (Lot 1) – Northwest Corner of Boughton and Woodward: The Plan Commission will consider an application by Pearl Property Group, LLC. The applicant is requesting approval for an amendment to the preliminary and final regional planned unit development (RPUD) plan for Lot 1 in the Boughton Woodward Commercial Center, located northwest of the intersection of Boughton Road and Woodward Avenue. The proposed development is for two commercial buildings, a 6,820 square foot dialysis center that will be operated by DaVita Dialysis, and a 5,318 square foot speculative retail building.
