Help A Young Woodridge Resident Help Others This Holiday Season

Packaged Food & Toiletry Drive

Did you know that approximately 10,798 people in Illinois are homeless? Since he was in 5th grade, Jeremy, a Woodridge School District 68 Jefferson Junior High School 8th grader, has created care packages for those that are experiencing homelessness. Please consider donating items to help create these care packages.

Items sought: Toiletries (travel sized) and packaged foods (i.e., granola, chips, healthy snacks, packs of cookies, water, and juice bottles).

Location: Collection boxes at Village Hall (5 Plaza Drive), Police and Public Works (1 Plaza Drive)
Times: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, through Dec. 19

Jeremy intends to deliver all of the care packages to those who are homeless and to DuPage Pads. Together, we can make such a difference to others.
