Dear Woodridge Neighbors and Businesses,

On behalf of the Village Board, the Village of Woodridge and myself, we hope this finds you and your family well.  We thank you for all your great care and in doing your part to help stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus.  Because of recent strong actions, we hope to save lives.  We ask that you please continue to follow the Governor’s Executive Order to Stay Home and all of the CDC/IDPH guidelines including social distancing and limiting gatherings to no more than 10 people.  We know this has not been easy.  Remember that we are all in this together.  Please stay strong and be safe.  Visit the Village’s dedicated COVID-19 website page for continued updates.

We know that Woodridge is always stronger together!  Please reach out to your neighbors and offer a little kindness, a helping hand, and you can help by supporting our local businesses... consider buying a gift card.  Let us Shop Woodridge, and Dine Woodridge by supporting our local restaurants.  Know that together we will get through this!

This is also a good time to give special thanks to our first responders, our doctors, nurses, scientists, pharmacists, members of the military, caregivers, and volunteers…all incredible Heroes!  We are grateful for their kindness and sacrifice.

In Woodridge, we believe in doing good.  It is in that Spirit that we have collaborated with the Northern Illinois Food Bank for a Woodridge Drive-Up Food Pantry on Friday, April 3 at 3 PM - 4:30 PM, at the Woodridge Park District Athletic Recreation Center (ARC), 8201 S. Janes Avenue.  More details about this event will be posted on our website and social media channels by early next week.

Please take good care, stay strong and know that we are here for you.

Stronger Together, Always!
Mayor Gina Cunningham
