    Join the Woodridge Park District on Friday, July 20th at Sunnydale Park, 2019 Wheeler for a movie under the moon. The movie, Up, starts at 8:45 p.m. but arrive early for family activities that start at 8:00 p.m. All ages are welcome for this free event. Don't forget to bring a blanket or chair to watch the movie comfortably.

  5. Grammy Nominee to Play Kids Concert at the Library

    Justin Roberts will bring a rocking good time to the Woodridge Public Library on Tuesday, July 24 at 2:00 p.m. during a free music concert. Roberts is well-known for his delightful family-friendly songs and has performed for Nick Jr., The Today Show and Lollapalooza. Registration is not required for this children's program.

  6. Police Department Community Roll Call - July 24

    July 24, 6:30 PM

    Please join the Woodridge Police Department on Zurich Ct., just south of Echo Point Park, for a Community Roll Call on Tuesday, July 24th beginning at 6:30 p.m. The Roll Call will feature a "severe weather" theme and attendees will hear from Det. Murray, a trained weather spotter and experienced storm chaser. Officers will also discuss vandalism, graffiti, and crime prevention. This is a great opportunity to meet your local police officers as they meet with a neighborhood watch group. Stop by and observe or ask questions about general police activity. We encourage families in the area to attend! The event is weather permitting.

  7. Woodridge 68 Student Registration for 2018-19 School Year

    Woodridge School District 68 will be conducting walk-in registration for new & returning students for the 2018-19 school year on Thursday, July 26th from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. All students are to register at Thomas Jefferson Junior High School, 7200 Janes Avenue. It is not too late for parents to register their student online. New & returning families can get detailed registration information on the district website, including information on the following: important dates, returning students, new students, kindergarten, preschool, residency information, registration fees, and health requirements.

  12. Crafting for a Cause - Tuesdays, 1PM

    Woodridge active adults meet weekly to crafts items for charities in the community and are seeking donations of materials (see the list). The group makes bibs, aprons, hats, scarves, blankets, shawls, and other items for local hospitals, schools, social service agencies, and more. There are donation bins located at the Woodridge Village Hall, 5 Plaza Drive, and Park District Community Center, 2600 Center Drive.
