  1. Citizen Police Academy - Now Accepting Applications

    Interested in learning more about your local police department? Would you like to obtain a working knowledge of practices, policies, and procedures of a top law enforcement agency? The Woodridge Police Department is now accepting applications for the Citizen Police Academy through December 14! The Citizen Police Academy is part of the Woodridge's Community Oriented Policing initiative, designed to reduce and prevent crime, as well as maintain partnerships within our community. The ten-week session is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 with the classes meeting from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Applicants must live, work, or be associated with the Village of Woodridge. There is NO COST to anyone who participates in the academy.

  2. Santa Comes to Woodridge - December 1!

    "Santa Comes To Woodridge" on Saturday, December 1st from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the St. Scholastica Parish Activity Center, 7800 Janes Avenue in Woodridge. This program offers free admission, a free gift bag for each child, reasonably priced concessions, and free craft tables.

  3. Electronic Recycling and Winter Clothing Drive

    December 1, 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM

    Mark your calendars! An electronic recycling event has been scheduled for December 1, between 8:30 and 11:30 a.m. at Christ the Servant, 8700 Havens Drive, in the parking lot. eWorks will be charging $25 - $35 for CRTs, flat screens, televisions, and monitors. Coats, hats and gloves in good condition will also be collected at the event. See More Info
