  1. Veteran Nominations Sought for December 2018 Bicentennial "Honor 200" Event

    July 1, All Day

    In celebration of Illinois' Bicentennial celebration, DuPage County is encouraging residents to nominate veterans to be honored by the Illinois Bicentennial Committee and the Illinois Department of Veterans' Affairs (IDVA) later this year. The organizations will join together to honor as many as 200 veterans at a celebration of statehood event on December 3, 2018. Nominations can be mailed to the Illinois Department of Affairs in the George Dunne County Building, 69 West Washington, Suite 1620, Chicago, IL 60602. The deadline is July 31.   3. Mosquito Spray - Sunday, July 1 - Weather Dependent

    Based on recent trap counts, anticipated new broods hatching from the recent rain events, and upcoming high temperatures, the Village has coordinated with Clarke Environmental Mosquito Management to complete a full town mosquito spray that will occur this coming Sunday, July 1st (weather dependent). The spray will likely begin between 9 and 10 pm Sunday evening. Note, residents that have requested to be contacted by phone in advance of full town sprays will be contacted by Clarke on Friday.
