  1. JANO and Police Dept. 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament - Registration Deadline - July 8!

    Is the next Zion Williamson in Woodridge? We may find out at the Woodridge 3-on-3 Youth Basketball Tournament! Janes Avenue Neighborhood Outreach (JANO) and the Woodridge Police Department are teaming up to host a youth basketball tournament. The event is free, and players will receive a free t-shirt. The registration deadline is Monday, July 8. Individual or team sign-up available with a four player limit per roster. Players may participate on one team and there are boys and girls divisions: 12-13 years, 14-15 years, and 16-18 years. For more information, including registration information, please visit the Woodridge Police Department website. This basketball tournament aligns with the Woodridge Police Department community outreach initiative to connect with youth in the community.   4. Active Shooter Training for Woodridge Business Community

    Woodridge Business Community members are invited to attend an upcoming active shooter response training session. Presented by Woodridge Police Officer Bean, this training will provide the participants with an introduction to the ALICE training program and offer suggestions and tips as to how you can make your organization a safer place. The event will take place at AMC Theaters, 10000 Woodward Avenue, in Woodridge on Wednesday, July 24 from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

  6. Woodridge 68 Student Registration for the 2019-20 School Year - July 25!

    Woodridge School District 68 will hold walk-in registration for new & returning students for the 2019-20 school year on Thursday, July 25 from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. All students are to register at Thomas Jefferson Junior High School, 7200 Janes Avenue. It is not too late for parents to register their student online. New & returning families can get detailed registration information on the district website, including information on the following: important dates, returning students, new students, kindergarten, preschool, residency information, registration fees, and health requirements.
